Production Time
Due to the 100% custom, and handmade nature of each product, we require 2-4 weeks after you approve your proof (if you requested it during checkout) to complete your order. The time is subject to change during slower and busier seasons when memorable gifts are in higher demand (i.e. holiday, wedding season, graduation timeframes, etc.)
Selecting Your Photo/Script Sample for Your Line Art
Photos or photocopies of the written message should be clear and easy to read.
I can work with photos to edit and change contrast to make script easier to read, let me know if you have any concerns about your written message.
Short, handwritten messages work best for this type of art. Think of short messages left at the end of a greeting card, a favorite quote or message of affirmation left from a loved one as examples.
Cursive writing works best as the connected letters are more easily cut by the laser. However, I can do printed messages depending on the length and complexity. I reserve the right to decline and/or refund purchases if the provided writing sample cannot be used.
Note that I do not illustrate facial features, so photos that show from at least the waist up work much better than close portraits.
Family portraits, graduation portraits and team photos are all great examples of photos that work well.
Ensure the lighting is sufficient so that I can see details in the photo.
If you would like to have pets done, I can do that as well.
Shipping and Delivery
Shipping is handled by the U.S. postal service. Once we hand your package over to the postal service it is out of our hands and we cannot be held liable for delays that may occur as a result of weather, natural disasters, holidays, etc. Please understand that postal workers do their best to move packages as quickly and efficiently as possible, however if it appears your package will not arrive by your desired date, please feel free to contact us for a photograph of the final product so your loved one can see what they’re receiving!
Proof Policy
If requested during your checkout, we will send a proof for you to review before cutting out and finishing production of your art. If we do not receive a response within 5 business days, the proof will automatically be considered approved for completion. Be sure to monitor your spam folders in the event your mail provider sends our email there. The customer is still liable for automatic approval even it the email goes unseen during those 5 days due to being sent to spam.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
We are happy to process cancellations recieved within 24 hours. Due to the custom nature of each step in the process, we cannot accept cancellation and refund requests after 24 hrs. In the case of major imperfections to the line art, frame or wood we DO NOT offer a refund. If we agree that the imperfections are major enough, we will ask that the art be returned to us and we will make a new frame. In most cases small imperfections are to be expected as each piece is hand made and wood, by nature is an imperfect material.
For imperfections in handwriting / line art design, we will remake and send a corrected frame to you! (Unless the customer was sent a proof and it was approved or it was automatically approved following 5 days of not receiving a response).
Small Details in Artwork
Because each letter of your handwritten note you provide and each line of art from your photo is cut from wood, the design has to be thickened enough to withstand the laser cutting process and maintain the necessary integrity for the best possible quality. As a result, tiny details may be lost in some cases or made slight bigger to ensure the best overall quality of your line art and frame.
Customizing or adding to Original Photo / Handwriting
We are sometimes asked if words can be added to a handwritten note that isn’t already there, or if another family member can be added to an existing photo. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate these kinds of customization to the photo you provided at this time.
Product Care
Cleaning
The best way to clean dust from your art is to use a can of compressed air often used for electronics and computers. These can be purchased at most retailers like Walmart or Target and can be found on Amazon as well.
Art Placement
The art you’ve invested in is made of 100% wood, and moisture is no friend to it. To avoid warping or damaging your art we highly recommend against hanging your frame where it will be subjected to steam or moisture such as a bathroom.

What if my art breaks?
Please take pictures and send the photos to us. If the sign breaks by accident we would be happy to help you get it fixed. I can provide tips on how to you fix it yourself at no charge, or you can mail the art back to us to fix for a fee. In extreme circumstances, I can remake the piece at a lower rate. Please see the Repair / Remake section below for details.
If the sign breaks and evidence reveals that the fault is on our end, then we will happily fix or replace it free of charge, whichever option is necessary. We reserve the right to determine whether the art needs to be fixed or replaced (i.e. insufficient adhesive, nails, major paint imperfections (missing pain in spots, not fully covering line art or backing) or shipping damage.
Small Imperfections?
Small imperfections are to be expected. As the art is 100% hand-crafted and made of wood, we will not entertain fixing or replacing art pieces over small imperfections such as slight chips/dents in the frame, texture of the wood (i.e. wood knots) or minor paint imperfections. Every sign is personally inspected for quality and we take great pride in providing a product that is as close to perfect as a human hand can create!
Cost to repair / remake in the event of an Accident?
Cost will vary depending on the detail, size of the art and damage to the art work. If you are sending the art to me to be fixed or repaired, then the charge will include coverage of shipping both ways plus our standard fee of $100 hr. Most minor fixes can be taken care of in 30 mins. We will send an invoice before you ship the art to us with a price estimate. After the repair / remake is completed, we will refund any extra if the time was less than expected or send an additional invoice if more time than expected was necessary.
Charges for replacing a sign that is damaged beyond repair will include the cost of materials.
